Magic is performed and supernatural beings and ghosts naturally interact with human beings. In my opinion, The Palm-Wine Drinkard is somewhat a difficult novel to review considering the fact that it is unlike anything I have ever read before. But who knows, I might read it one day. Some of these pranks, one's mind went to those fantasy fairy tales of the likes of D.O Fagunwa/ Wole Soyinka in The Forest of a Thousand Deamons or Amos Tutuola's Palmwine Drinkard and My Life in the Bush of Ghosts.
